From the Wallers
The Comeback Begins: Wallers Eye 2026
Group A — 3rd place. 0-2 to close Season 1. Now the rebuild starts, and the captain wants the league on notice.
Season 1 ended the way nobody in the locker room wanted: two losses, both 3–2, a points-for/points-against line of 4–6, and a 3rd-place finish in Group A. But every tie was a one-court swing — and the team knows it. "We were a court away in both matches," says captain Timothy "Timbo" Gonzalez. "Season 2026, we close those out." The rebuild starts now. The wall doesn't move.
Recap: Iron Palms 3, Wallers 2 — Timbo & Paulie Stun Dboy/Tyshawn 21-12
The tie went to Iron Palms, but the day belonged to the captain. Timbo and Lefty Paulie ran a clinic at 1st Doubles.
Empire dropped the 11:00 AM tie to Iron Palms 3–2, but the signature moment of Season 1 was written on the 1st Doubles court. Captain Timbo Gonzalez and Lefty Paulie ran out to a lead they never gave back, sealing a 21–12 upset of Iron Palms' Dboy/Tyshawn pairing. Ameer added a 21–14 over Lemir Valette at 2S. Dan Pitre (18–21 to Kadeem Bush), Syed/Sheik (15–21 to Gerardo Ruiz/Brian Duran), and BeeBee/JoJo (11–21) couldn't keep pace, and the tie slipped away — but the 1D upset is going on the wall.
